I like to provide an international touch to my projects based on my business, writing and film background.
I am focused on understanding what is going on worldwide and try to communicate it to people that would like to share it with me.
Brazil is the only Latin American country who acquired its' independence through non-violent means. Whether there is political, social or economical instability, Brazilians have long managed their sorrow through festivities such as the famous nation-wide Carnival. Carrying a daily sense of well-being through laughter and smiles defines the core of Brazilian culture. This is often seen in a typical Brazilian barbecue, known as "churrasco" where fine meat, good beer and Samba are cherished. Samba could not be left unmentioned as a pivotal part of Brazilian culture. It is the mainstay in Brazilian Popular Music and is often enjoyed in any Brazilian gathering. Brazilians are also very easy-going and affectionate when it comes to daily life. They manage to work out difficult situations in the most positive of ways. In business for example, Brazilians often times will be spent on discussing a deal or a meeting over a long lunch, where hugging and hand-shaking are highly encouraged.
Brazilians are also proud of their coffee, which merits highlighting. Any situation justifies drinking a small cup of coffee. It is not espresso nor is it diluted coffee, it is just right in between, known as the famous "cafezinho". It is an important aspect of Brazilian hospitality for example. Alongside, in a more social level, there is also the typical Brazilian alcoholic drink "Caipirinha" which became internationally known in major cities. It is a blend of lime juice, sugar and crushed ice. Although every Brazilian would argue that some have a particular way of making it.
